DEX Heavy Duty Parts has been recognized as an outstanding business and awarded Business of the Year by Davie County Chamber of Commerce for 2020.
In light of the challenges faced in 2020, the DEX team continued their history of success and support in the Davie community.
DEX has been in good standing in the community for many years now; and has supported the Davie Chamber as a high level sponsor.
DEX is a for profit business located in Advance, NC. DEX utilizes many other local businesses as much as possible to keep growth and finances within the community.
DEX has been involved in supporting other civic activities, such as:
- Ignite Davie
- Workforce and community programs with DCCC (Davie County Community College)
- Career days
- Supports local fire and police operations
- Many other notable actions involved in events and fundraisers
DEX’s core values revolve around the highest business standards and ethics. DEX is a leader in the heavy truck parts industry, and makes investments to support efficiency, sustainability, care for the people and for the environment. DEX allows Mack and Volvo trucks to be the only original equipment manufacturer to have a 100% lifecyle chain of its products. DEX in Advance has a 99% recycling ratio in operations and recycles over six million pounds of material a year. Each year DEX promotes and supports United Way making sure all funds are provided locally in Davie county.
Since DEX has moved to the Advance area in 2015 they have seen continuous growth. This growth has led to expansion, and a second location was opened in Oklahoma City, OK in 2019.
